However, this may vary depending on the location and instructor. It is a good idea to plan ahead and bring a drink and snack.
Will my information be sold or distributed?
No. We have high security measures to protect against the loss or misuse of all your information. We will never share, sell or distribute your information, unless you give us written permission to do so.
Where are the classes being held?
Washington Housing Association classes are held in several locations around the Puget Sound. Fire stations, libraries, and sometimes community centers are commonly used. If you live in an area where no classes are available, an online course may be for you.
Can I bring a friend or relative?
Yes; Please provide all attendee names to our seminar coordinator to ensure a seat is available.
What is your cancellation policy?
Providing a free service is sometimes very difficult and frustrating. There have been registrants who have abused the enrollment system by canceling several times, or just not showing up to the class. A student will not be allowed to reschedule if he/she fails to notify
us within 24 hours of their scheduled class.
How do I enroll in this class?
Just click the "Enroll" or "Find A Class" icon. Choose a class that best fits your schedule and then fill out the registration form. You will receive a confirmation number with ticket.
How long is the class?
Originally designed as an all day, eight hour program, the current class lasts the state-required minimum five hours with additional time afterward for one-on-one questions. At the end of your course you will receive a certificate from Washington Housing Finance Commission. This certificate will be valid for two years.
Is this a big sales pitch?
No solicitation is allowed in the class room by instructors or attendees. Any industry professionals who intend to solicit or disrupt the class will be asked to leave immediately.
