Home Advantage downpayment assistance combines with the Home Advantage first mortgage loan program. The interest rate is 0%, with a 30 year loan term.  There are income limits with this program.  To be eligible for a Home Advantage DPA loan your annual income must not exceed $97,000.  Eligible households may qualify for a maximum loan amount of up to 4.00% of the total loan amount.  This DPA program is available in all counties. Further restrictions apply.

Available to Washington State residents only.  The Home Advantage Loan Program offers a great downpayment assistance option.  This is downpayment assistance at its best!  Many of Washington Housing Association students have taken advantage of this specific downpayment assistance program.  The Home Advantage DPA (down-payment assistance) loan program is a second mortgage loan with a 0% interest rate, a 30 year loan term, and works in conjunction with the Home Advantage first mortgage loan program.  Many Washington state homebuyers are not even aware that this downpayment assistance program exists.  We need to get the word out!  Join us by attending a free homebuyer educational course and receive your certificate that will open doors to homeownership!

1.Your first step is to attend a free homebuyer class. Washington Housing Association will educate you on the process of purchasing a home in the state of Washington.  No solicitation is allowed in the classroom.  Your information is not sold or distributed.  At the end of your class you will receive a certificate that will be valid for two years and is a requirement of the Home Advantage DPA Program. 

2. After the homebuyer educational course a trained Home Advantage loan officer will coordinate your pre-approval.  All of your loan options will be presented at this time.  How much you qualify for will be answered.  E-mail us if you have any questions regarding our preferred loan officers.
